Learning about Nepal

On Monday in preparation for our mufti day next week we had Mr Jim Cotter from the University of Otago visit us.  He shared about his experiences in Nepal and how life was over there prior to the devastating earthquakes.

We will offer our support through our Mercy Values and do all we can to help with our donations next week.

Monster Madness with our Buddies

The letter 'M' was our Room 1 Buddies letter of the week.  Check out today's Buddy Time craft in Room 7.

Good Luck!

Wishing Emma, Erinn, Bridget, Thomas, Kayla, Caitlin and Aarnika all the best as they take part in the 40 Hour Famine this weekend.

A great way to show our Mercy Values in action.

Drama - 10 Second Objects

Following on from our Freeze Frame activities we have been focussing on we were introduced to "10 Second Objects".  For this activity we are put into groups where we have to depict an item with all group members joint and then freeze.  See if you can recognise the helicopters and soldiers being carried on a stretcher.

"Being Reflective"

Whanau Time today was thinking about what it means to be reflective.  To help us understand and make connections we watched "Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are" by Dr Seuss.  Then we made a "Shout Out Wall" and shared our successes.
