Technology at Taieri College

TECHNOLOGY
Every Thursday Room 7 goes to Taieri College for technology. The Year 7’s have started with Food Technology (cooking) and the Year 8’s have started with Hard Technology (metalwork). The things you do at technology are sewing, woodwork, cooking and metalwork. Every nine weeks we change subjects.
Our teachers are: Miss Crawford (Cooking and Sewing), Mr. Woodside (Woodwork and Metalwork). It’s really fun and it teaches us new skills every week.

Kaleidoscope Names by Room7

As an art project, Room 7 made things called 'kaleidoscope names'. To make these, we simply took a small piece of paper the shape of a triangle, wrote our names on it and traced it onto another piece of paper. Here are some examples:

At long last I have made it to our class blog. I can't wait for everyone in the class to personalise our blog and make it everything you wish for 2012. I hope you have all enjoyed the first two weeks of term and are looking for the many challenges and experiences that will continue your learning for this year and into the future.
