We have our race winners!

Here they are the fastest growing wheat and grass heads.  Congratulations to their proud owners.

Enjoying the gift of lettuce for an afternoon snack

Hannah and Dale gave us some of their hydroponic lettuces on our visit to their garden.  On Thursday afternoon we enjoyed an afternoon snack of lettuce.

Do you know your DRSABC?

Today we had Jan from St John's educating us about First Aid.  It is really good to have an understanding of the basics.  You can feel safe knowing that we can follow DRSABC to do our part.  Check us in action putting patients into recovery position, administering CPR and stopping a bleed.

Saddleview Greens Trip

On Tuesday we were lucky to visit the Jordan's hydroponic gardens.  It was a great opportunity to see how lettuce, kale and spinach can grow when we don't use soil.

A huge thank you to Hannah and Dale who hosted us and shared their wealth of knowledge.

Remember to support our local produce providers when you are at our local supermarket.

The Race is on!

Who will have the first head to need a haircut?
