Flax weaving

Today we made things with flax (harakeke in Maori). We made things like flowers, wristbands and fish. It was very fun to do but it took a lot of concentration. The first one we made we are giving away to someone else and the second one we made we get to keep for ourselves. How Fun!! By Tayla A

    I'm Emily from Hawthorndene Primary School in Adelaide, South Australia. We're doin Quad Blogging with you. It certainly looks like you had some great fun weaving. Last year we did some weaving with a material called Raffia. It's like thin straw. Some of them went round and round in circles going outwards and others turned into bowls. Are you going to carry on weaving ??
